Dear Rick:
Thank you for your support of the 2010 Rock Chalk Ball and for the generous donation of $701.83 for the table wine at the event! The wine was greatly enjoyed by our guests and helped make the event a success.
The Rock Chalk Ball has become the KU Alumni Association’s premier event in Kansas City. In our 15th year, we attribute our success to fellow alumni and KU Friends, who have generously donated to help support students, the Alumni Association and the programs they offer. Student recruitment is fiercely competitive and it is more important than ever to involve the Jayhawk network, who can share the KU experience with the most talented students in Kansas and across the nation.
On behalf of the KU Alumni Association and the 2010 Rock Chalk Ball, thank you for your generous support!
Rock Chalk Regards,
Kevin J. Corbett

Dear Curt,
From Camp Capper, we extend our deepest appreciation to Glazer’s for your $278.08 sponsorship of our 2010 "An Evening as a Child." You played a vital role in making 2010 event our best ever!
The setting for Camp Capper included a forest of wild animals lurking in the trees, a crackling campfire where s’mores were toasting, and the sounds of birds and crikets chirping. All the sights and sounds brought back fond memories from our own childhood summer camp experiences. Our guests participated in camp challenges, including barrel racing, tug-of-war, and boat races. More than 500 attendees enjoyed a "Campsite Buffet" of hamburgers, brats, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, and s’mores pie!
The silent and live auctions offered a great selection of one-of-a-kind items, and the Wine Board included a variety of highly coveted premium wines. The heartwarming response to help increase our Scholarship Assistance Fund will enable us to provide life-changing therapies for children whose families have limited resources.
With our record attendance, we did experience some growing pains. As we plan for the 10th anniversary of our signature event in 2011, we will address these issues and provide another unforgettable evening next year!
Thank you again to Glazer’s for your generous support, which helped us raise more than $100,000 to provide therapies and services for children with disabilities. You are truly ’Angels of Change’ for the children of Easter Seals Capper Foundation.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Dvorak
