TLC for Children and Families
September 16, 2008
Dear Joe:
Thank you for Glazer’s generous donation to TLC’s 2008 Power With A Purpose (PWAP) event! Please know your gift will make a major impact on the lives of thousands of children who find themselves in crisis situations. Your continued commitment and dedication to TLC and the children we serve is heartwarming.
Last year our "Friend-raiser" brought together 200 women from the entire metropolitan region, many of them new friends to TLC. More importantly, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, guests and other supporters, we raised over $21,000 for TLC’s new on-site medical and dental program.
Plans to make this year’s event the best ever are well under way! The date has been set for Columbus Day, Monday, October 13. Once again, Lyn Shaw and Dennis Langley have graciously offered to host PWAP at their beautiful home, "The Spirit of Avalon", and Carrabba’s Italian Grill has offered complimentary catering.
Proceeds from this year’s PWAP gathering will support TLC’s Resource Family Services (Foster Care) program. Be assured that Glazer’s financial donation and all funds raised at PWAP will go straight to the kids at TLC!
Thank you for partnering with TLC to make this evening a success. We welcome the opportunity to recognize your sponsorship and to thank you in person on October 13.
Very Truly Yours,
Barbara P. Allen

Curt:
For the 5th year in a row, many thanks for your support. We could not do it without your help with the underwriting.
Holy Cow!
Just a short note of thanks for helping us at our 5th annual Johnson County Ducks Unlimited event this year. With your assistance, we were able to net $70,413.15 to improve and restore our wetlands. That is a new record for our event!!!! As I’ve said many times, we’re pretty hard on mother Earth and anything we can do to help return her to her natural state has to be a great accomplishment. Thanks again for assisting us in our efforts by donating to our auction.
Keep ’em Flying,
Gary Mellard
