Corporate Product Training Manager - Wine
Guy Stout, Glazer’s Corporate Product Training Manager for Wine, is the only Master Sommelier in Texas and one of only 123 in the world, according to the Court of Master Sommeliers. The credential, earned through rigorous study and experience, is a mark of highest distinction within the wine industry.
Guy previously held the rank of Advanced Sommelier, and has worked exceptionally hard to reach this highest level of recognition. His achievement brings further credence to the work being done by all of the Glazer’s training staff in making Glazer’s sales personnel the most knowledgeable in the country.
Guy has worked for Glazer’s for fifteen years and has played an invaluable role in helping create Glazer’s Beverage Academy program for wine education. He continues to work diligently to assist his fellow trainers, managers and salespeople to further their understanding and appreciation of wine.
He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Houston Hilton School for Hotel and Restaurant Management and a member of the Houston Food and Beverage Managers Association.
Thomas Verner, CWE
State Training Manager-Product Knowledge
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
In addition, he has earned the accreditations of Certified Wine Educator and Certified Specialist of Spirits from The Society of Wine Educators and is recognized as a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Tom has over 25 years industry experience, including owning the Cafe’ du Vin Restaurant which was awarded The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 3 consecutive years. Previously, Tom held management positions with Glazer’s including Director of Sales, On-Premise Wine and General Manager, Domaines & Estates. Tom has been with Glazer’s since 1995.
Alfonso Cevola, CSW
Italian Wine Director
Alfonso Cevola is Glazer’s Italian Wine Director. He is the
"ambassador" who translates the Italian experience (and its importance)
and helps define, communicate and reinforce the Italian wine message,
both inside the company and in the community.
third-generation Italian-American was born in a vineyard in California
and raised in and around his grandfather’s vineyard, where he was first
exposed to the grape and the vine. Living in Italy as a youth gave him
the opportunity to work in his Italian relatives’ vineyards in the
summer and during selected harvests.
A graduate of Santa Clara
University in Silicon Valley, he began his 30-year career in Southern
California. He is a Certified Specialist in Wine and a Special
Contributor to The Dallas Morning News and The Well Fed Network. His

Mary Ann Willis, CSW, CSS, CWE
State Chain Account Manager
Mary Ann Willis has been in the wine wholesale industry for 23 years. Prior to working in the industry she spent time in the restaurant industry managing a chain of upscale steak houses based in Southern California. She began her career with Glazer's in 1992 as an on-premise wine sales representative and quickly advanced to management – holding several management positions within the corporation. Mary Ann is currently a State Chain Account Manager for specialty grocery chains. She works with the corporate buyers and Glazer’s vendors selecting products for the over 2500 per store wine assortment. Mary Ann holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas Tech University as well as the certifications of Certified Wine Educator and Certified Specialist of Spirits from the Society of Wine Educators and Certified Spanish Wine Educator from the Wine Academy of Spain.
Dan Katalinich, CWE
Eastern Iowa On-Premise Manager
Dan Katalinch is responsible for the Eastern Iowa On-Premise Sales
Division, including sales and marketing execution as it pertains to
wine, spirits, and malt beverage sales. In addition to these functions,
Dan conducts education sessions for the entire Eastern Iowa sales
group. He also successfully provides an outstanding level of customer
service. In 2005, Dan earned his CSW and in 2006, he earned is CWE. Dan
has worked for Glazer’s since 2002.
Bryan Dale CSW/CWE/GPE/CSS
Regional Manager - Chain Accounts, Fine Wine
Bryan, in his 10th year with the company, earned the certification of Certified Wine Educator (CWE) in April of 2010 and his Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) in 2007.
In 2011, Bryan became part of the first group of employees to earn the new designation of GPE (Glazer's Product Expert) and attained his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from The University of Phoenix online.
Bryan has 20 years of experience in the alcohol beverage industry, the first 11 of which were spent with Coors beer distributors in San Antonio and Brownwood. He began his career at Glazer’s in San Antonio as a merchandiser in 2004, spent time there as a sales representative and District Manager, then moved to Houston as a Division manager in 2010. In 2011, Bryan moved to Dallas to be the State Chain Account Manager calling on Costco. As of October 2013, his current role is Regional Manager – Chain Acocunts (Fine Wine).
Caterina Miltenberger, CSS
Caterina Miltenberger is an Award Winning Corporate Mixologist for Glazer's Wholesale Distributors in Dallas, TX. Caterina is The WSWA IRON MIXOLOGIST WINNER 2011 for Best of Show; Best Long Drink; Best Dessert Drink.
Caterina has been a Celebrity Judge at South Beach Food and Wine Four Oranges Competition 2011 and the Don Q Rums Mix it Up Competition in San Juan Puerto Rico. She has been the featured mixologist at The Hala Ranch, the Aspen home of Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz at Aspen Food & Wine on behalf of with TyKu Spirits. She has presented The Toast to Congress in Washington, DC.
Caterina is certified with the El Consejo Regulador Del Tequila, A.C. She is considered an expert in tequila. Caterina’s other credentials are: Certified Spirits Specialist, a member of The Court of Master Sommeliers.
She works with many of the USBG groups in the USA. Caterina has been featured in Tasting Panel Magazine for her Farm to Table cocktail programs. The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley has enlisted and featured Caterina to create many recipes for them along with their website. She has been written up in Cosmopolitan, Cheers Magazine, Chilled Magazine, FD Luxe Magazine, and D Magazine. Fashion’s Night Out on behalf of Neiman Marcus, Dallas, TX. She is a regular participant at The San Antonio Cocktail Conference in San Antonio, TX.
Ms. Miltenberger travels in 14 states on behalf of Glazer's, educating and training hotels, restaurants, national, regional and local multi-chain unit. Caterina has designed cocktail programs ranging from farm to table concepts to high volume national chains such as Maggianos most recently launched their Speakeasy concept. Caterina has worked with Fogo De Chao creating traditional South American cocktails spanning the USA and Brazil.
“Cat” as she likes to be called has recently worked with Top Chef Johnny Hernandez (Season 9 – Top Chef) along with presenting cocktails for such organizations like Les Dames D'Escoffier Dallas Chapter. Her creations have touched Celebrity figures as Bethany Frankel, George Clooney, Kid Rock, Cyndi Lauper, Patrick Swayze, Vivica Fox, Ludacris, Randy Gerber and most recently Kenny Chesney.
Caterina’s approach to cocktails: “I prefer using the freshest ingredients, source local farm to table produce and use the smallest footprint ingredients to elevate the cocktail experience. To Quote Chanel: Simple and Elegant Is My Style."
